About  Sarah

Sarah Allen

After spending many years as a senior sub-editor at magazine titles such as Marie Claire and Brides, Sarah made the transition into floral design. She is a trained florist, achieving exemplary results in a Level-3 City and Guilds programme and completing inspirational workshops with The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers and international stars of the flower world including Jessica Zimmerman, Holly Heider Chapple of Chapel Designers, and Kiana Underwood of Tulipina.

As an Australian-born creative now living in a little town near St Albans, Hertfordshire, Sarah has a liberated approach to design and offers a fresh twist on classic wedding flowers everyone adores. Her floral creations have beautified many prestigious venues in Sydney, London and the South East
of England including:

  • Botleys Manion

  • Burloes Hall

  • Fulham Palace

  • Hunton Park Hotel

  • Islington Assembly Hall

  • North Mymms Park

  • Offley Place

  • Rushton Hall

  • Stoke Place

  • Syon Park

  • The Grove Hotel

  • The Langham Hotel

  • Theobalds Estate

  • Trinity Buoy Wharf

Sarah's work has also been featured on high-profile blogs including Love My Dress, Real Weddings,
Rock My Wedding, and Want That Wedding, and in bridal magazines (remember those) such as Real Weddings and Your London Wedding.

Intrinsically green-thumbed, Sarah is also a passionate gardener, growing several varieties of fragrant, old-style roses to pop into bouquets, and will forage in the most inhospitable of places (muddy paths, embankments... you get the idea) in pursuit of British foliage that elevates and distinguishes her designs. Her intention is to create captivating, original work that delights you from the first glimpse, and to make the process of working with a florist enjoyable and memorable.
